Salaam, Salut and ‘Sup everyone!
There is a ton of stuff I LOVE about having a guidebook with me when I travel, which is why I tried to really do my best with Moon Morocco. When I travel with a good guidebook, I feel like I have a real resource with me that doesn’t require being charged everyday. Besides, I’m a big fan of burying my nose in a book, circling places I want to see, salivating over new restaurants to try out, or just having something handy to read a bit about the history or culture of a new place while I’m in transport, on a train or bus or something like that. You know what I mean?
However, the downside of having a guidebook is that because of the medium, it is basically out of date the moment it’s printed. Of course, histories and cultures don’t change too much, but restaurants open and close faster than my 14 month old son can scoot across the living room and hotels that were once four cozy, blissful stars are now under new management and are a bit dingy around the edges.
With that in mind, I’m keeping this website for you to accompany my guidebook so you can have access to the most up-to-date info I can manage. So, if you can, please support the writing and get the book, but stay tuned here for the latest news from Morocco.
Trek selamma, bon voyage and happy travels! Hope to see you around Morocco soon!
